I've just rewatched "DARKMAN 2" after a very long time, and I must say that it's heavily flawed, but all in all enjoyable. Unlike "DARKMAN 3", it doesn't feature any major or truly spectacular action set-piece, and the final confrontation in the warehouse looks extremely low-budgeted and filled with straight-to-video "vibe". For a comparison, the fight with Rooker (Fahey) on #3 was much more spectacular. Said that, I liked the investigation work of Darkman, his "moves" to destroy Durant's organization and his overall activity as vigilante.
Despite it's low budget and modest screenplay, "DARKMAN 2" manages to be entertaining and good in its own way, even if "DARKMAN 3" is a more complete film and surely THE better video sequel.
