I liked the sequels. If the second one had had another badguy instead of a resurrected Durant, I would've loved it. I thought the professor was funny as hell as well as some of the dialogue.
The third one was pretty good too because it showed that Darkman was still able to care about people when he thought he'd forgotten how.

I didn't think Darkman II was that bad, but it certainly was disappointing. It had a good story, with those weapons, but they shouldn't have had Durant return.

yeah I agree that it was a bit lame having Durrant return and the excuse they gave was feeble but I enjoyed Darkman 2. Not as good as the first, obviously, but still enjoyable and more violent. Darkman 3 was quite good but a bit boring imo

I thought the sequels were just okay, with DM3 being a tad bit better than DM2. I enjoyed them for what they were: more of Darkman.

This wasn't a very necessary bump to make.

What? There was no point in bumping the thread after no one posted in it for over a year and a half. We already have new topics on the sequels anyways.

Oh I see. It's good to see some activity picking up on here though.

I'd hardly say it's picking up when it's only three people.

Yes but at least there's been some discussion going around here.

#2 was not bad, #3 was so so.....not too big when they introduce children into a series like this.

I didn't think Jenny was so bad. She at least was likeable and wasn't a filler character.

The sequels are alright but... You know, there was so much more they could have done with the character. Darkman is just so full of wasted potential. It's kind of a shame that Raimi never made his version of Darkman 2. Darkman fighting someone other then gangsters and thugs would have been nice too.

I agree. it's a shame that the series and the character never got much of a following among the public
