Am I wrong? On the Bellasarious memorandum there's a date: October 1989. Fellas, I can clearly see it. So I bet the "incident" which turned Westlake in Darkman happened in November or so. There's also a date on the video-camera which recorded "Durant" 's criminal actions in the S-mart: February 1990. Did someone remember how it took to prepare the Peyton Westlake mask which Darkman needed to meet Julie one more time? There's a running time counting on Darkman's PC screen. Anyway, I bet Peyton was 33 in 1989, and Darkman was 34 in 1990. It's simple. So, Darkman is now 48.

Any other 48 year old would be in pretty bad shape if they'd had as many injuries throughout their life as ol' Peyton has.
But if he can't feel pain then a Darkman sequel would still be fairly plausible (if you can really worry about the realism of a movie about a guy who makes fake skin in an old warehouse with no money and burnt equipment). ;D

I bet Darkman would still be in good shape because his body heals itself well, as Dr. Thorne pointed out. And he did have money because he was always boosting it from thugs. I'm sure they all considered him a major PITA. It took 571 hours to digitize his face and that's about two months.

He's not like a "normal" human being, his body features some outstanding faculties, if you think about it.

I wonder if he fixed that Synthetic Skin yet? I suppose there's no a real solution. Skip the sequels (which I see like an "alternative world" anyway) Darkman will non trepass the 99 minutes mark.

I think a new sequel should be made, about an old Darkman, either finishing the skin after years of trying, or, they can just let the poor guy die, he'd probably appreciate either one.

That could work to, it would probably work best as a dark knight returns kind of thing, although considering his lack of a face they could do a sequel where little to no time has passed. Maybe we could find out what Julie's been up to...

The little to no time passing thing being a new actor playing Darkie, you wouldn't have to retcon anything either, he just decided to have a new accent yet again!
