We all know that years ago they tried to make a Darkman TV show. My question is, if they did make a Darkman series do you think that it could work or would it simply fail? We see television dominated by CSI clones and poorly written sitcoms. Darkman would certainly be something different. Of course, they tried a Blade series and that was cancelled. At any rate, I don't think that it's too late too try a Darkman TV series. Any thoughts on this?

I'd love to see a Darkman television series. I think it would have the potential to be a very good show and could possibly spark the public's interest in the character.
A Darkman cartoon series similar to the Spawn cartoon that used to air on HBO might be good too.

The question is, how could they make it work? On network television it would probably be canceled pretty quickly. On cable it would have a better chance of surviving, but it would probably have a small budget and bargain bin actors. HBO might work... It would still be different from anything else on tv and for that people might not like it. I would love a Darkman series but it would be a gamble.

Sadly you're right It would still be amazing to see a Darkman TV show though and I'd tune in for every episode. To make it successful it would need decent advertising and promotion, and to be on a time slot that didn't put it against more popular and high-rated shows.

Admittedly it might not be as hard as it was several years ago. The climate of tv seems to be changing, what with shows like Lost and Heroes being so successful. Plus, there are shows like the Bionic Woman and the Sarah Conner Chronicles(based on the Terminator movies) coming. I think it would really help if Darkman got a solo comic book series, because that could renew interest in the character. Well here's hoping.

I'm hoping Darkman gets a new solo comic book series as well, and some novelizations would be nice also.

A television series could totally work out these days. If this were 16-17 years ago, I'd doubt it. But with all the technologies of today and how advanced the quality in telvision has gotten, a Darkman series would be a piece of cake to produce.

I still think a Darkman television series would be awesome to see if it were done right.
